Environmental Services: Richard Thurgood

Richard is the Technical Director who is responsible for all the activities of our specialist environmental consultancy Environmental and Remediation Services (E&RS).

As a chemical engineer, he has more than 20 years’ experience in process, project and environmental engineering, commissioning and safety. Much of his career has been spent working for major pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing companies.

He is a recognised expert in a wide range of environmental and safety issues and has presented several papers to international conferences on subjects including land remediation, Permeable Reactive Barriers, VOC Abatement and Regulatory Compliance.
