Gareth Davies
Managing Director

Formerly CEL’s Operations Director, Gareth has worked in the chemical and associated industries for many years in engineering, process development, operational, commissioning and business management roles, and has been responsible for many successful projects up to £125M in value.

Ed Wilson
Chief Executive

Ed has over 25 years’ experience of managing multi-disciplinary turnkey projects in the UK and worldwide. He has held various senior management positions.

Yunus Patel
Finance Director

Yunus is a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer having worked in this role for many years. Most of his experience has been in medium-sized subsidiaries of large listed corporations, giving him a unique insight into the workings of both medium-sized and large businesses.

Nigel Barnes
Operations Director

Nigel joined CEL International from GlaxoSmithKline, where he was Vice President of Engineering. He is a well-known figure in the pharmaceutical industry. Nigel has primary responsibility for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, industrial and chemical project activities.

Jason Holland
Projects and Strategic Director

Jason is an experienced Project and Business Manager with particular expertise in pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects. He has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management where he specialised in project management.

Craig Chapman
Sales and Marketing Director

Craig has been involved with the process industries, particularly the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, for most of his career and has held a number of senior roles in general management, operations, sales and marketing.

Rob Lee
Director of Commercial Services

A professional mechanical engineer with responsibility for estimating, contracts and commercial management, Rob has extensive experience of design, project management and construction management.

Roger Burley
Director of Engineering and Resources

Roger’s design expertise lies with electrical, instrumentation and process control and he has widened this to all technical areas of the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries during his career of more than 30 years.

Simon Maguire
Director: CEL International (Shanghai) Co. Ltd

Simon is a mechanical engineer and has over 25 years’ experience in the provision of project services in the process industries, including fine chemicals, food and consumer products and pharmaceuticals. His career has also encompassed project management (Europe, China and USA) and business/regional office management.

Richard Thurgood
Technical Director: E&RS Environmental Consultancy

Richard is a Chemical Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in process, project and environmental engineering, commissioning and safety. He has experience of site-wide environmental and safety strategies, and has presented several papers to international conferences on environmental issues including land remediation, using permeable reactive barriers and VOC abatement.

Glenn Baker
Director: IDEAS Projects

Glenn is an experienced engineer responsible for IDEAS, a company he formed in 1977 to provide project management, design and engineering resources.
