China Office

Our first project in China was in 1967 and our China office was established in Shanghai in 1994.

We offer the complete range of CEL services to new inward investment projects and to existing manufacturing facilities.

The majority of our staff are experienced local Chinese engineers. These professionals are all competent in English, have trained with CEL and are familiar with western working style and project expectations.

We offer a cost-effective approach to projects maximising the use of local staff, equipment and other resources whilst maintaining an acceptable level of quality.

Typically our Chinese projects comprise some or all of the following services and features:

We operate through our 100% owned local Chinese subsidiary CEL International (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Through our strategic alliance partnership with Sinopec Nanjing Design Institute (SNDI) we have extensive detailed engineering resources across all disciplines.

Having been operational in China for more than 10 years we have a well developed supply chain network of equipment suppliers, construction contractors, sub-consultants and other partners necessary to facilitate full project delivery.
